Yanru was here! ^^
Heyo!
Having being able to go overseas to do cip is something new to me.
&of cos i do cherish this chance to go over and help out as much as i can.
For example, learning how to farm, cleaning up and many stuffs.
I can still remember how Zaki and Maran fall into the small river when trying
to transport some stuffs over to th further kampong hut.
Although it might sounds a little funny to many but they didnt complain or anything
which i think is something good to see. Helping out ppl without complains.
It is something i think i would admire Zaki & Maran. :D Lol.
&i couldnt forget the expressions the kids gave us when they receive the gifts.
They are uber cute la! Haha.
I found myself enjoyed playing games together with them.
They are very cheerful and lively.
I miss them so much. Hope to have the second chance to go over there and help out again.
Although MrChoong, MrToh and Eileen(the tour guide) always reprimand us but i know that they want us to improve our attitude and not to fool around.
Of cos, we dont not blame them for them. It is for our own good. :D
I have learnt many things from this trip.
They worked very hard for a living. Farming under the hot hot sun t grow the veggies.
Everyone yearns for a better job doesnt they.
They also wish to sit in the office and work. But they are the more unluckily ones.
If we can, we should help out the more unluckily ones isnt it.
Thus, cherish everything you have now. Not to take it for granted.
TADA.
Here, i'll end my reflection~ :D

Reflecto from Beano yo!
Batam cip was damn coool. It was fun helping out kampung sayur.
We cleaned the place up and then looking at it again...
The view was like WOW. All so green.
It was my first time going to a place like that.
hahas oh well...
The tour guide, Eileen, told us that the farmers sold their veges
at such a cheap price just to earn money for a living.
They sold the vege for 4000 rupiah per kilogram.
Not to forget, Singapore's $1 is equals to 6200 rupiah.
Therefore, its about 6 cents if we convert the money to our currency.
See how they worked so hard just to earn 6 Singapore cents!
After the trip,
I kinda got addicted to the song which the batam kids sang.
The song is Ketahuan from a band named Matta.
I also learned a lot from them. We should not take everything for granted.
Appreciate everything that we have now. Go and have a look at the
people living in batam and compare your life with theirs.
So what if we do not have tiles at school? In batam they live and study on
hard ground soils. Eat your veges people, because the people in batam
grow them for food and for a living too.
I missed yuyun, my gf-to-be. I missed the way she sticks out her tongue
whenever i wave and smile at her. Haiz, cute lil her...
I hope she's living a good live. LOL crap.
Although the Eileen was quite fierce. You go to batam to help people there.
The tour guide is just a guide in your tour.
Tips to not make the tour guide spit at u:
If she talks, dont talk back.
If she stares, dont stare back.
In other words, dont care her can already la.
haha. Wateva...
The water skiing was also very fun.
It was quite an experience helping out at Batam.
my reflection ends here. take care!
mubin:)
p.s: to others who are going there for the cip,
make sure you help out as much as you can.
DONT COMPLAIN ANY SHIT. DONT MAKE TEACHERS SCOLD YOU.
we're leaders la dey! show some spirit yo!
whooooooo~~

batam batam batam batam!
The Batam CIP is one of the events that I wont forget. I kinda miss that place
And I miss the kids even more. The feeling of knowing that you had helped them one way or another and seeing their laughter and smiles is indescribable. It is a great feeling of satisfaction and achievement. :D
It made me realize to value the things around us. Sometimes we take the littlest things for granted.I have learn a lot through this trip and it is something I don't regret going.
Helping them was our priority but we had fun helping them. Shopping and cable skiing was a bonus. Like a cherry on top of a cake (= haha.
Although it has been a year, the kids, the fun, the kampung, the 'resort' the friendships and the bonds will not be forgotten.
(:
